GLOBE air amplifiers (also called air pressure boosters, air pressure doublers or pneumatic boosters) are oil free, air driven boosters. Available in single acting and double acting versions with different ratio's. The air amplifiers, or pressure multiplier, operate similar to the fluid pumps. We use the incoming air as a drive pressure for the air amplifier as well as a supply pressure.
Air Amplifiers draw in atmospheric air from the rear of the unit and have downstream entrainment further amplifying/intensifying the flow. They are used for cooling and deaeration. While the force produced for blow-off decreases as the exhaust diameter of the amplifier increases, these air intensifiers are ideal for cooling due to the high flow rate of the exhaust and are much more effective for cooling compared to air nozzles.
